I'd love to upgrade to CS5, on that 'new and shiny' knee jerk response. But since I'm still pretty clueless in CS3, it seems a bit crazy to upgrade until I've managed to spend some more time learning what I'm doing with the older version. I'm watching PhotoShopUserTV and other podcasts on my daily commute, and starting to get some idea of how layers work etc etc., so I'm slowly getting there. But have to confess, when I sit down with a photo that needs 'something', I'm still pretty clueless as to where to start. Rather than upgrading CS3, I think I need to invest in some Kelby Training, or Lynda.com, or take a local class or something with the same money. By the time I've done that, and I'm really *using* Photoshop, then I can perhaps justify the upgrade price for a new version. Though at the rate I'm currently going, by that time I'll be hankering after CS6 (or 7, 8 or 9)!Josiehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/fraserjnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2552584137492521248.post-24180632941634473522011-01-30T01:32:43.385-05:002011-01-30T01:32:43.385-05:00Still rockin' CS2 here. The price of the software doesn't bother me, it's the realization that I'll then have to sink quite a bit of money into a new computer. :^\Billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596205932932108573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2552584137492521248.post-66013738946257032862011-01-28T17:34:56.491-05:002011-01-28T17:34:56.491-05:00I try to keep current with my software too.
