When is it too much Photoshop?...

At what point does one step over the line and go from good photshop to BAD?

In my humble opinion, this is yet another example of Photoshop run far amuck.

It's one thing to "tweak" an image with Photoshop, it's another thing to hit it would a pound of C4!

This video is less than a minute, so please you tell me (leave a comment below), good thing or bad?

It depends on your purpose. If you are creating a work of art, you have the freedom enjoyed by all artists to create the work as your vision sees it. If you are creating an ad for Barbie dolls, then this is your photo. If you are creating a portrait of this young woman, then this is a wretched failure ... Unless she wants you to make a fantasy picture for her Facebook page. I choose, as a photographer who uses photoshop, to create art. When capturing images of birds and wildlife, I use a great deal of discretion and care not to distort or alter the image. When I wish to use images to create and interpret, I regard every pixel as a brushstroke in my picture, my artistic creation.

my daughter thought the "edited girl looked fake" and she's only 8 years old. She loved the way she looked before. I'm a photographer and all for creating images but I think for magazine covers you need to "keep it real" if not for us already down in the dumps about our body 30 something year olds but for our kids! Let them see the beauty in real people like the girl in this video.
