Today is the last day of winter, a winter that has given us well over 100
inches of snow.
But obviously that was not enough for mother nature because as I write this
she is whipping up yet another blizzard outside my window, and by the time it
ends later tonight it will have
added another foot and a half of snow to our
winter total.
So
tomorrow we'll be celebrating the first day of spring
with a whole bunch of shoveling (
and maybe just a few choice words for mother nature).

I don't know, but where I am, mother nature is pretty awesome :) 85-90 degrees since about 2 weeks :)
Now you are just being mean Anika....
:)
I'll stop bragging in about 4 weeks when it reaches 100 degrees here... I'm glad I'll be back at the East coast soon! One great thing about the Army, you get to see a lot!
I feel for you. I love Maine and have considered retiring there. I'm rethinking that.
The kicker was that on the news last night they showed us the weather from the same period last year... upper 60's - low 70's, it made the storm just a little more painful.
Of course my whining is tongue in cheek, I have a roof over my head, I have food, and am doing what I love, so I really have nothing to complain about.
Thanks for coming to the blog, for leaving a comment, and keep Maine on your retirement list, it really is a great place.
Feel your pain! We still have lots of snow, too. Usually during our March Break we have what we call "The Big Melt", but it hasn't happened yet this year. Sigh.
Well posting guy . Like it .
